The Bosco guitar and other musical instruments store was created by Ana and Johnny, a pop music duo that disbanded in the late 70s.
For 40 years Bosco has been a temple for artists such as Joaquin Sabina, Los Ramones, Los Pecos and Ana Belen, as well as for music lovers who decided to buy their first guitar. After retiring, the duo planned to say goodbye to their establishment in the Chamberi area, but their son Dan, who grew up among instruments, artists and music, decided to continue his parents’ business. But he decided not just to leave the musical instrument store, but turned it into a restaurant where you can eat delicious food and listen to live music surrounded by guitars. Musical instruments can also be purchased there.
Residents of Madrid love this cozy institution, where you can get to a live concert almost every evening. On the second floor there is a room for private events and concerts. If you decide to stop by the restaurant, don’t forget to try local cocktails dedicated to musical styles.
