For an apartment, as for a small house, a wall gas is considered the most convenient option for the boiler. Such models are compact and ease of operation. What should be considered when choosing such equipment?
The design of the gas boiler
Gas wall boilers are single -circuit and double -circuit. Those owners of apartments who want to provide only heating can purchase the first option of equipment. Double -circuit boilers are more expensive, but at the same time perform an additional function of heating water. Thus, the owner of the device does not have to depend on the central water supply with his frequent interruptions. When buying such a model, first of all, you should pay attention to the heat exchanger. For apartments in which the quality of water in pipes leaves much to be desired, you should not purchase a model with a bitter (joint) element. This design will fail very quickly, since it will form a scale on it. In this case, it is better to choose a product with a plate heat exchanger made of stainless steel, a good solution in this situation will be the acquisition of an altep boiler, which is excellent quality and moderate price.
Boiler or flowing option?
Two varieties of double -circuit gas wall boilers are produced – flowing and boiler rooms. Flot structures should be bought for an apartment only if the number of people living in it is not too large. The fact is that technically providing a large family with water for household needs and at the same time effective heating such equipment is quite difficult. In addition, since the flow of water through the heat exchanger passes directly into them, it is formed on it. In the boiler structure, the water is pre -defended. Therefore, there are practically no scale on the elements. A tank capacity is considered a very important indicator of boiler equipment. For the needs of a standard family of 3 – 5 people, there will be enough model for 100 liters. In this case, you also need to pay attention to the design of the heater. It can be submersible (similar to a boiler) or dry, located in a specially steatite flask. The last option is more expensive, but at the same time more reliable. It is worth looking at what kind of metal the tank is made of. The stainless steel container will last the longest. Ordinary steel will be somewhat less reliable.
Of course, you need to choose a product of only a proven manufacturer. Otherwise, you can save on the purchase, then spend much more funds for repairs.
