Using natural stone in the interior – expensive pleasure. Of course, no artificial material is able to display the majesty and grace of natural stone rocks. Accordingly, the use of such a stone in the decoration of the premises emphasizes its uniqueness, closer to the royal premises. It so happened historically that only the royal chambers were initially faced with a stone, and it was such a noble decoration that allowed the building to be called the palace.
Have passed for many years, and natural stone is still popular among the powers of this world. But, although his breeds have not undergone any changes over the centuries (after all, all the same marble or granite is used in modern interiors), but still such a decoration has become somewhat closer to mere mortals.
For example, granite floors can be found not only in private elite apartments, but also in public buildings. Granite is a strong and wear -resistant breed, and this is precisely its increasing popularity. To date, many people who have reached a stable financial situation give preference precisely the floors of stone. Of course, the choice of color and texture in this case completely and completely depends on the preferences of the customer. However, at the same time, something should be taken into account.
For example, marble, compared to granite, is softer, so it is advisable to use it in “unloaded” rooms, that is, where there is no constant movement. Along with this, marble will be able to “light up” the space even more, while granite will make the room more restrained.
Naturally, in residential premises you can make a choice only on the basis of aesthetic preferences – after all, when loading on the floor in the apartment, both marble and granite floor will last almost identical.
However, one should not forget that each breed of stone, and, accordingly, the product from it is unique and carries the corresponding decorative load. Therefore, everything should be harmoniously composed in the interior. After all, not only the floor can be stone. In the decoration of the premises, natural stone slabs are also used for facing walls, stairs and the like. For example, when facing walls, you can make “medieval” frescoes. And, let’s say, marble stairs themselves are the central element of the room, because it is really impossible to take their eyes off them.
The use of stone in the decoration will allow you to turn a dull room into royal chambers. And this feeling will be not only among residents and owners, but also for all invited guests – after all, a natural stone, as nothing else, will emphasize your status and significance.
