Regular, or, as it is often called the French style, originated about four hundred years ago during the reign of Louis XIV, in Versailles. Distinctive features of such a garden are excessive, indicative grooming, associated with geometric forms based on symmetry.
Nowadays, this style of the arrangement of garden and park space is one of the most common, as it differs in convenience in the layout, due to the fact that it is based on the principles of axial symmetry, which was especially widely used in the Soviet Union.
The key differences in the regular garden, in addition to symmetry and strict geometry of forms, are hedges, cut trees and bushes, topiary forms of plants. An important point is the scale of such a variety of landscape design, because initially regular style was used to design palace parks. In the middle of such a garden you can put convenient and mattresses to choose in the color of garden plants in order to bask in the shade of all your free time.
The reservoirs inherent in this stylistics are distinguished by clearly defined coastal lines and are an open artificial buildings, which, echoing with the rest of the elements, also have symmetrical geometric-correct outlines. Most often, fountains or pools of round, square or oval shape are used as “water” elements.
In terms of plants, preference is given to the discharge of evergreen, as they are able to maintain the necessary appearance throughout the year and are easy to haircut. Most often, in gardens with regular layout, you can find boxwood, TIS or Padub.
Flower beds and flower beds made in this style are very important and require uniform lighting that helps to withstand the same in their height. A distinctive feature when choosing plant varieties is that preference is given to annuals who can maintain their flowering for a fairly long time. Flower beds should be either ground and level, have bright colors and a clear plant planting scheme.
Materials that most often perform in the decoration of a regular garden are marble, bronze and ceramics. Often used art forging.
Finally, it is worth noting that the French style of the garden is perhaps the most demanding and expensive solution, since it was originally created far from the poor. However, if you are not embarrassed by the difficulties of this kind – you will receive your own little Versailles!
